Tom Folinsbee is a Canadian citizen who lived in Beijing, Tokyo and Hong Kong for over twenty years before returning to Canada in 2016. His started his career in Hong Kong as the asian sales manager for a financial publishing company followed by research and sales positions on institutional trading desks at Caspian Securities, Macquarie Bank and BNP Paribas. He spent 10 years in corporate finance with 3SBio, a leading Chinese biotechnology company. Tom graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
